At Ackton Pastures we use a variety of online platforms to support the teaching and learning of our children during a bubble closure or in the event of a whole-school, partial closure.
Microsoft Teams is our platform that allows children to 'meet' with their classmates and teachers, attend live lessons and watch recordings of lessons.
Seesaw is our platform that allows staff to assign activities and tasks, where children can edit and respond in a variety of creative ways.
To instil a love of reading in our children here at Ackton, we have subscribed to online platforms so that children can independently read a range of texts at home. For those children developing early reading in school, we use the platform of Oxford Owl. As children become more accurate and fluent readers they progress to the Bug Club reading resource.
In order to support children’s developing Maths skills, they have access to our online platforms of Timetable Rockstars (Year 2-6) and Numbots
(EYFS – Year 2).
If you require log in details to any of the platforms, please contact the school office.
